This heavier, opaque fabric creates a stunning shimmering effect with movement.  Taffeta Wings are as luxurious as wearing a beautiful gown!  They can look like a cape when draped down your back.

Taffeta fabric is a crisp, smooth lustrous fabric with a slight sheen made of various fibers, such as silk, rayon, or nylon, supposed to have originated in Persia. The name, derived from Persian, means "twisted woven." Taffeta is in the same class and demand as silk. It is considered to be a "high end" fabric, and was also used to make medieval Noble Ladies dresses.
